IndustryFMCG, cold-pressed oils TimeframeOngoing, multi-year
Summary. Standard Cold Press sells cold-pressed cooking oils online and through retail. The brief was long-term: build and hold a high-volume search footprint in a consumer category where recipe sites, marketplaces and health publishers all compete for the same queries, and extend that visibility into AI-powered discovery.
The starting point
- High-volume, highly competitive consumer queries (“cold pressed coconut oil”, “is mustard oil good for cooking”).
- Visibility that needed to be sustained month after month, not won once.
- No presence in AI-generated answers, which were starting to take a share of informational searches.
What we did
- SEO strategy and execution across product, category and educational content.
- Content and on-page optimisation built around entity-based topical clusters: oils, uses, health questions, recipes.
- Technical SEO including Core Web Vitals work on a product-heavy site.
- AI-search and citation optimisation so that Bing Copilot and other assistants cite the brand’s pages when answering oil and cooking questions.
