Digital marketing for manufacturers and B2B firms
Digital marketing for manufacturers has one goal: enquiries from buyers who have already decided what they need and are now choosing a supplier. Zuptek Infotech works with manufacturers, fabricators, component suppliers, machinery makers and B2B service firms across India, including exporters selling abroad. Our head office is in Faridabad, an industrial town, so factory marketing is familiar ground. The thing that matters most is your product pages. A buyer searching for “SS 316 hex bolts manufacturer” or “injection moulding job work near me” wants specifications, capacity, certifications and a way to send a drawing. Most manufacturer websites give them a slideshow and a contact form. We fix that.

How buyers find a manufacturer today
B2B buying in India starts online far more often than most factory owners assume. Purchase executives, design engineers and procurement heads all search before they call.
Google Search with specifications
“HDPE pipe manufacturer”, “CNC turned components supplier”, “powder coating plant price”, “ISO 9001 sheet metal fabrication”. These searches are specific and the searcher is close to a purchase.
IndiaMART, TradeIndia and ExportersIndia
Still the biggest lead sources for many SMEs, but you pay for leads shared with five competitors and bargained down by price. Your own website should be the second source, then the first.
Google Maps
“Near me” matters less in B2B, but buyers check your profile to confirm you have a real factory, see photos and read reviews before a visit.
Procurement managers, plant heads and OEM engineers research suppliers and respond to specific, technical posts. Decision makers in large buyers live here.
YouTube
Machine demos, plant tours and process videos reduce the number of site visits before an order.
Drawings, quotes, samples and payment confirmation all move on WhatsApp. A catalogue PDF sent in two minutes wins orders.
Export buyers
Importers in the Middle East, Africa and Europe search in English, read your site at night Indian time, and expect to find certifications, MOQ and port details without asking.
What we do for manufacturers and B2B firms
Industrial SEO and product pages
- One page per product line and per process capability, with specifications, tolerances, materials, MOQ, certifications and downloadable datasheets.
- Keyword research built from how engineers search: grades, standards, dimensions and applications.
- Technical fixes to the old, slow sites most factories run. See SEO services.
Manufacturing website
- Product catalogue with filters, drawing upload on the enquiry form, and WhatsApp handover to sales.
- Pages for infrastructure, quality systems, clients served (with permission) and export markets.
- Bilingual or multi-currency versions for export where needed. See web development.
Google Ads for industrial products
- Search campaigns on product and process terms, with location targeting for domestic buyers and country targeting for export.
- Negative keywords for jobs, courses, retail quantities and DIY searches.
- Lead forms that ask for quantity and application so sales can prioritise. See Google Ads.
LinkedIn for decision makers
- LinkedIn Page and founder profile set up to speak to procurement and engineering.
- Weekly posts on processes, capacity, quality checks and case examples.
- Targeted outreach and sponsored content to OEMs and EPC contractors. See LinkedIn marketing.
Technical content
- Application guides, material comparison articles and FAQ pages that rank for the questions engineers ask before specifying a supplier. See content marketing.
Catalogue and follow-up automation
- WhatsApp catalogue delivery, quote follow-up sequences and a quarterly email to past buyers and dealers. See email and WhatsApp marketing.
Compliance and industry rules
B2B marketing is lightly regulated, but claims still need backing. ISO, BIS, CE and other certification marks may only be shown for products and scopes actually certified, and the certificate number should be available on request. Under Section 17 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, the BIS Standard Mark (such as the ISI mark) may only be used under a valid BIS licence or certificate of conformity, and BIS’s own enforcement guidelines treat using the mark or an imitation of it in advertisements, leaflets and pamphlets without one as misuse. Claims of quality, capacity or performance should be backed by evidence, as the ASCI Code requires. Client logos need written permission. Export pages should state Incoterms and MOQ accurately. If you also sell packaged goods to consumers online, the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 require the package declarations to appear on those listings too. We keep a claims file for every page so sales and marketing say the same thing.

How can a manufacturer get leads without IndiaMART?
Build product pages that rank for specification searches, run Google Ads on your most profitable lines, and make it easy to send a drawing or get a catalogue on WhatsApp. Keep the portal listing active while your own pages grow, and track enquiries by source so you can see the shift month by month.
Is SEO useful for industrial and B2B businesses?
Yes, and competition is often lower than in consumer sectors because many factory websites are neglected. Specification-level searches have low volume but very high intent, and a single enquiry can be worth lakhs.
Does LinkedIn marketing work for manufacturers in India?
It works for reaching procurement and engineering at larger buyers, OEMs and EPC firms. It is slower than Google Ads and better for relationships than for immediate enquiries. Posts from a named founder or plant head outperform LinkedIn Page posts.
How much should a manufacturer spend on digital marketing?
It depends on how many product lines you promote and whether you target export markets. Our Business SEO plans are published at Rs 9,999, Rs 19,999 and Rs 34,999 per month; Google Ads management is quoted after a free audit, and ad spend is paid directly to Google. Start with your most profitable lines and expand once enquiries are tracked.
Can you help with export marketing?
Yes. We build English product pages aimed at specific countries, run Google Ads with country targeting, and set up enquiry handling across time zones. Certification and shipping details are stated on the page to reduce back-and-forth.
Do you also build B2B ecommerce or dealer portals?
Yes. For manufacturers that want dealers or repeat buyers to order online with login pricing and MOQ rules, see our ecommerce and D2C page.
