Website redesign services that keep your rankings and fix what is broken
Zuptek Infotech provides website redesign services for businesses across India and abroad whose current site looks dated, loads slowly or no longer brings enquiries. The difference in how we redesign is the SEO work that happens before any design starts: a crawl of every URL, a Search Console baseline, a page-by-page content parity sheet and a one-to-one redirect map. You get a better site and you keep the traffic the old one earned.

Brands we have worked with across the group

Who it is for
Businesses with a site built 4 or more years ago
that looks wrong on phones and embarrasses the sales team.
Businesses that rank for useful keywords
and are afraid a redesign will throw that away. It often does when done without a redirect plan.
Sites that have already lost traffic after a redesign
by another vendor and need the damage diagnosed and reversed.
Businesses rebranding
with a new logo, name or domain and a site that has to change with it.
Businesses merging two or more old sites
into one.
What you get
SEO baseline before design
- Full crawl of the current site: every URL, title, heading, status code and internal link
- Search Console export of the last 16 months: pages, queries, clicks and impressions
- Backlink list so pages with external links are never deleted silently
- A written list of pages to keep, merge, rewrite or retire, agreed with you
Content parity
- Page-by-page sheet mapping every old heading, paragraph and image to its new home
- Rankings depend on content. We move or improve it; we do not quietly trim it
- New copy where the old copy is thin, written with target keywords from the baseline
Design and build
- Mobile-first wireframes and Figma design, two revision rounds
- Build on WordPress with Elementor or a custom theme, or on your existing stack if it is sound
- Forms, WhatsApp, click-to-call, Maps and tracking rebuilt and tested
- Core Web Vitals pass on mobile at launch
Redirect map and technical migration
- One-to-one 301 redirects for every changed URL, tested before launch
- Canonicals, hreflang, robots.txt, XML sitemap and schema carried over or improved
- Staging site blocked from indexing, production unblocked at launch, checked twice
- Image filenames and alt text preserved where they rank in image search
Post-launch monitoring
- Search Console checked weekly for 60 days: coverage, 404s, ranking shifts
- Crawl of the live site at day 1, day 7 and day 30
- Fixes for anything that moves the wrong way, included in the project price
How we work
A 10 to 20 page redesign takes 7 to 9 weeks. Sites with 100 plus URLs or a domain change take longer and are scoped individually.
Audit (week 1).
Crawl, Search Console baseline, backlink list, speed report. You receive a findings document and a fixed quote.
Content plan (week 2).
Keep, merge, rewrite, retire decisions. Parity sheet built. New sitemap approved.
Design (week 3 to 4).
Wireframes, visual design, two revision rounds.
Build (week 4 to 7).
Development on staging, content migrated against the parity sheet, redirects written and tested.
Launch (week 8).
Pre-launch checklist of 40 plus items, DNS or deployment at a quiet hour, post-launch checks the same day.
Monitor (60 days).
Weekly Search Console review and fixes.

Results
The honest outcome of a well-run redesign is that organic traffic stays flat for the first 4 to 8 weeks and then improves as speed, structure and content gains are indexed. A drop of more than 10% that lasts beyond two weeks means something was missed, and we treat it as a defect to fix at our cost.
The technical cleanup we apply during redesigns is the same work that fixed 50 plus 404 errors in our SEO case study.

Anything else? Call +91 98218 37342 or write to [email protected].
Will I lose Google rankings if I redesign my website?
You can, and many businesses do, because URLs change without redirects and ranking content gets cut. With a baseline, a parity sheet, a redirect map and monitoring, rankings are preserved and usually improve.
Can I change my domain during the redesign?
Yes, but it adds risk and time. We run a domain change as a separate step with Search Console’s change of address tool, full redirects and extended monitoring. If the old domain has strong links, we usually advise keeping it.
Should I keep my old content?
Keep anything that ranks, earns links or answers a customer question. Rewrite thin pages. Retire pages nobody visits, and redirect them to the closest relevant page rather than the home page.
Can you redesign a site that is not on WordPress?
Yes. We redesign sites on Wix, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, custom PHP and static HTML. In most cases we move them to WordPress, with the same redirect and parity process.
How long does a website redesign take?
Seven to nine weeks for a typical business site, including the SEO audit at the start and launch checks at the end. Content approvals from your side are the usual cause of delay.
My traffic already dropped after a redesign. Can it be recovered?
Usually, if the old URLs and content are known. We compare the old crawl or Wayback Machine snapshots against the live site, repair redirects, restore missing content and resubmit sitemaps. Recovery typically shows within 3 to 6 weeks.
Get your redesign scoped properly
Send us your current URL. We will run the crawl and Search Console baseline, show you what is at risk, and send a fixed quote within three working days.
