Technical SEO audit and fixes that your developer can act on

A technical SEO audit from Zuptek finds everything that stops Google from crawling, indexing and ranking your website, and then puts it in a prioritised list with instructions a developer can follow. We also implement the fixes ourselves on WordPress, Shopify and WooCommerce sites. This service is for businesses whose content and links are fine but whose rankings are stuck, whose site is slow, or who are about to redesign or migrate and do not want to lose traffic. It is delivered from our head office in Faridabad for clients across India and abroad, and sits within our wider SEO services.

Who it is for

Who technical SEO is for

WordPress business sites

with 30 or more plugins, a page builder, shared hosting and Core Web Vitals in the red.

Sites that lost traffic

after a redesign, a domain change, an HTTPS switch or a theme update and nobody knows why.

Large or templated sites

, such as real estate portals, job boards, directories and ecommerce stores, where crawl budget and index bloat decide what ranks.

Businesses with an in-house developer or agency

who need an expert audit and a clear ticket list rather than a monthly retainer.

Businesses planning a migration

who want a redirect map, a staging audit and a launch checklist before anything goes live.

Process

How we work

Step 1

Access and scoping (days 1 to 2).

You give us Search Console, GA4 and, where possible, server logs and staging access. We agree the scope and the templates that matter.

Step 2

Crawl and analysis (days 3 to 8).

Full crawl, log analysis, performance testing and manual review of each template type.

Step 3

Audit document and call (days 9 to 12).

You receive the report and the fix sheet, then we walk your team through it.

Step 4

Implementation (weeks 3 to 6).

Either your developer works through the sheet with our support, or our team implements on WordPress, Shopify or WooCommerce.

Step 5

Verification (week 6 to 8).

We re-crawl, validate schema and confirm in Search Console that fixes have taken effect, then issue a closing report.

Audits are quoted as a fixed price once we know the site size and platform, and monthly technical work is part of our published Business SEO plans. Prices exclude 18% GST. One-time audits are billed 50 percent on start and 50 percent on delivery.

A migration audit alone (redirect map, staging check, launch checklist, post-launch monitoring) is quoted separately. Sites above 50,000 URLs fall under enterprise SEO. Contact us for a quote.

Results

In our published case study, the technical phase came before content and links. We fixed more than 50 404 errors, removed low-value tag pages from the index and cleaned the site structure within the first month. Daily organic traffic then grew from around 170 to over 1,200 in 85 days. Read the case study. For technical-only engagements we measure indexed pages versus crawled pages, Core Web Vitals pass rates per template, crawl errors over time and impressions in Search Console in the 90 days after fixes go live.

Questions

Technical SEO audit: questions people ask

Anything else? Call +91 98218 37342 or write to [email protected].

What is a technical SEO audit?

A structured review of how search engines crawl, render and index your website. It covers crawl errors, indexing rules, speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile rendering, site architecture, duplicate content, redirects, structured data and security. The output is a prioritised list of fixes.

How much does a technical SEO audit cost in India?

It depends mainly on site size, platform and whether server log analysis is needed. A small business site costs much less to audit than a large ecommerce store or portal. We quote a fixed price, plus GST, before starting. If you also need ongoing SEO, our Gold (Rs 19,999) and Premium (Rs 34,999) monthly plans include technical work.

How long does a technical SEO audit take?

Around two weeks for most business sites, including the walkthrough call. Sites with more than 10,000 URLs or server log analysis take three to four weeks. Fix implementation usually takes another three to six weeks.

Will technical SEO fixes improve my rankings on their own?

Sometimes. If Google could not index or render important pages, fixing that produces quick gains, often within 4 to 8 weeks. If your pages were indexed but outranked, technical work removes the handbrake and content and links do the rest.

Why did my website traffic drop after a redesign?

The common causes are missing redirects from old URLs, changed page titles and headings, content removed or merged, noindex tags left over from staging, slower templates and broken internal links. Our redesign checklist, how to redesign a website without losing SEO, covers how to avoid this. If it has already happened, a migration audit finds the cause within days.

Can you fix technical SEO on WordPress with Elementor or WPBakery?

Yes. Much of our technical work is on WordPress sites built with page builders. Typical fixes include reducing plugin load, server-level caching, image conversion, removing duplicate archive pages and replacing heavy sliders. Our WordPress development team implements the changes.
