International SEO services for Indian businesses selling abroad
Zuptek provides international SEO services for Indian businesses whose customers are in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Gulf, Europe or Australia: exporters and manufacturers, SaaS and IT services firms, D2C brands shipping overseas, and education and healthcare providers attracting foreign clients. Ranking in another country means more than translating pages. It means the right domain structure, correct hreflang, content written for how buyers there search, links from that market and a server and site speed that hold up on the other side of the world. We run these programmes from our head office in Faridabad, as a specialist part of our SEO services.

Brands we have worked with across the group

Who international SEO is for
Manufacturers and exporters
selling auto components, garments, handicrafts, pharma intermediates, machinery or packaging to buyers in the US, Europe and the Middle East.
SaaS and IT services firms
that get most of their revenue from abroad and currently rely on outbound sales and paid ads.
D2C brands
shipping ayurvedic products, jewellery, textiles, tea or spices overseas through their own Shopify store.
Education, medical tourism and hospitality providers
attracting students and patients from Africa, the Gulf, Bangladesh and the CIS.
Indian sites with multiple languages
such as Hindi, Tamil or Bengali versions that are cannibalising each other because hreflang is missing or wrong.

How we work
Market selection (weeks 1 to 2).
We analyse demand and competition in each candidate market and agree the first one or two to pursue.
Structure and technical setup (weeks 2 to 6).
Domain or folder structure, hreflang, Search Console properties, CDN and currency settings, tested before launch.
Content for the first market (months 2 to 4).
Core service or product pages localised, supporting guides published, internal linking in place.
Authority in market (month 2 onwards).
Outreach, directories and PR in the target country, running in parallel with content.
Measure and expand (quarterly).
Once the first market shows traction, we repeat the process for the next.

What is international SEO?
Optimising a website so it ranks in search results in other countries or languages. It covers which domain structure to use, how to tell Google which page is for which country (hreflang and geo-targeting), writing content for local buyers and building authority from that market.
Should I use a ccTLD, subdomain or subdirectory for other countries?
Subdirectories (example.com/us/) are the default for most Indian businesses because they share the main domain’s authority and cost less to run. ccTLDs (example.co.uk) send the strongest country signal but each starts with zero authority. Subdomains sit in between. We recommend based on your authority, budget and whether the markets need separate legal entities or pricing.
How does hreflang work and why does it break so often?
Hreflang tags tell Google which language and country each version of a page is for. They break because every version must reference every other version including itself, the codes must be valid ISO codes, and redirects or canonical tags must not conflict. We implement them through XML sitemaps for large sites and test them with a crawler before and after launch.
Can an Indian business rank in the US or UK?
Yes. Google does not penalise Indian-hosted or Indian-owned sites. What matters is content written for that market, links from that market, fast loading there and clear targeting signals. Indian exporters and SaaS businesses rank well when they stop writing for an Indian audience on their international pages.
How much do international SEO services cost?
It depends on how many markets and languages you target and how competitive each one is. Each market is quoted separately after a free audit, and translation for non-English markets is added at linguist rates. The timeline follows our general guide on how long SEO takes, with 2 to 3 extra months for new markets.
Do you handle Hindi and other Indian language SEO?
Yes. Multilingual SEO within India uses the same hreflang and content methods. Many sectors still have few well-optimised pages in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali or Marathi, so there is often room to rank.
