Ecommerce SEO services for Shopify and WooCommerce stores
Zuptek provides ecommerce SEO services for online stores that want category and product pages to bring in buyers without paying for every click. In many Indian stores most organic visits land on the home page or come from brand searches, while hundreds of category pages sit unindexed or compete with each other. We fix the structure, write the copy, add the schema and build the links so the pages that sell start ranking. We work on Shopify and WooCommerce stores for D2C brands, retailers and manufacturers across India, from our office in Faridabad. This page is part of our SEO services.

Who ecommerce SEO is for
D2C brands
on Shopify selling apparel, skincare, food, home decor or supplements that depend on Meta and Google ads and want organic revenue to cut customer acquisition cost.
WooCommerce stores
with 500 to 20,000 products where plugins, filters and tag pages have created thousands of thin or duplicate URLs.
Manufacturers and wholesalers
who list on IndiaMART and Amazon and now want their own catalogue site to rank for product and specification searches.
Stores migrating platforms
, for example Magento or OpenCart to Shopify, that cannot afford to lose rankings during the move.

How we work
Crawl and demand mapping (weeks 1 to 2).
We crawl the store, pull Search Console and GA4 data and build a category map that shows revenue potential per page.
Index and structure fixes (weeks 2 to 5).
Faceted navigation rules, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps and schema. On Shopify and WooCommerce our own developers make the changes.
Collection and product copy (month 2 onwards).
Top 50 collections and top 100 products first, then templates for the rest. You approve copy before it goes live.
Content and links (month 2 onwards).
Guides and comparison content published, outreach begins, internal links added.
Measure and expand (monthly).
We review organic revenue per collection and move effort to where it returns most.

Platform development work, such as theme changes or app integration, is quoted separately through our ecommerce development service.
What we measure
We report on organic revenue, not just traffic. The numbers that matter are organic orders, revenue per collection, indexed pages that actually receive clicks, and the share of revenue that comes from non-brand searches. Our published case study, 170 to 1,200 daily organic visitors in 85 days, was a service website, so we do not present it as an ecommerce result. The same approach of mapping long-tail topics, fixing index bloat and building foundation links is what we apply to category structures.
Medical SEO case study: E-E-A-T entity work and clinical author schema gave a UK private practice 48+ top-3 rankings and 140% more consultations.

Long-term SEO and AI-search programme for an FMCG cold-pressed oil brand: 42.7M Google impressions, 267K organic clicks and 31.2K AI citations in Bing. Full case study.
Dental clinic local SEO case study: Gaurav Dental and Physiotherapy Hospital, Samastipur, got 4,898 profile views, 690 direction requests and 274 calls.

What is ecommerce SEO and how is it different from normal SEO?
Ecommerce SEO focuses on category and product pages, which are templated, numerous and change constantly as stock moves. The main problems are duplicate URLs from filters and variants, thin product copy and categories that were never built around search demand. Regular SEO deals with a few dozen pages; ecommerce SEO deals with thousands.
Is Shopify good for SEO in India?
Yes, with limits. Shopify handles speed, hosting and basic schema well. Its weaknesses are a fixed URL structure, limited control over faceted navigation and tag pages that create duplicates. We work around these with collection strategy, app configuration and theme edits through our Shopify development team.
How do you handle faceted navigation and filter pages?
We decide per filter type. Filters with search demand, such as colour or material in fashion, become indexable landing pages with unique copy. Filters with no demand, such as sort order or price slider, are canonicalised or blocked. On WooCommerce this is done through our WooCommerce development team with plugin and theme rules.
How much does ecommerce SEO cost in India?
It depends on catalogue size, how many categories need copy and how competitive your niche is. Our ecommerce SEO starts on the Gold plan at Rs 19,999 per month plus GST; Premium is Rs 34,999 per month, and very large catalogues get a custom quote after a free audit.
How long does ecommerce SEO take to increase sales?
Index clean-up and schema often lift impressions within 4 to 8 weeks. Category rankings and organic revenue growth usually show in months 3 to 6. Highly competitive categories such as sarees, mobile accessories or protein supplements take longer and depend on link building.
Do you optimise Google Shopping feeds too?
Yes. We audit your Merchant Center feed, align product titles with the optimised page titles and fix disapprovals so free product listings and Shopping ads benefit from the same work.
